NZ Secondary Schools Boys' Football

It is with immense disappointment that Australian Secondary Schools Football have made the tough decision to again cancel their tour of New Zealand that had been planned for July 2022.

NZSS Football will continue to work with Australia Secondary Schools Football and other countries in an attempt to re-instate an international programme as soon as possible.

Due to the latest COVID-19 outbreaks Australia Secondary Schools can no longer travel to New Zealand in January 2022 and holding an Auckland camp in October is looking increasingly unlikely. We have therefore decided that we will hold a camp from the 17th Jan - 19th January in Auckland (provisional dates and venue). At this camp, players will have the opportunity to play the NZ Maori team and hopefully another game. Whilst this is not perfect, it does allow players to represent NZSSBFA.

Selected players will receive direct communication advising of future plans.

NZ Secondary Schools' Football - Under 19 Registration

Be part of the New Zealand Secondary School international team.

To register for the January 2022 games versus Australia Secondary Schools click on the red box below.

AUSS will be coming to NZ to play us in two games. We will also be holding games in the October School Holidays versus the Cook islands and NZ Maori age group teams. There will be a cost to this which will total approximately $1,500 as we will have 2 training camps whilst the games are on.

Under 19's: Players need to be Under 19 years old on the 1st January 2022 (born after 1st Jan 2003) and be attending a NZ Secondary school in 2021.

Exact venues to be confirmed but the trials will be held as follows:-

Auckland Friday 13th August

Christchurch Sunday 15th August

Wellington Monday 16th August

This is all subject to COVID restrictions allowing travel for Australia and the Cook islands.
